How far do you travel for weddings?
We travel. Connecticut is home, and we play weddings across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. Travel is billed at the standard mileage rate, and for anything beyond a three-hour drive, accommodations need to be provided or paid for.
How far in advance should we book our wedding DJ?
As soon as you've decided on your date. Booking early is the best way to guarantee your spot on our calendar.
Do you MC as well as DJ?
Yes. We DJ and MC, so your announcements and introductions are handled right along with the music.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. We work with you on the songs that are important to you and steer clear of anything you don't like.
Do you cover the ceremony and cocktail hour too?
We're available for every moment of your wedding day. Ceremony sound is an additional cost.
What happens if our DJ can't make it?
If the unexpected happens, we will do everything in our power to provide you with a suitable replacement.
Are you insured?
Yes. Society of Sounds is insured.
How do we reserve our date?
Fill out our online form and we'll send you a quote. From there, a 50% retainer secures your date.
